According to Clarion County 911 Director Ron Wolbert, two STAT MedEvac helicopters, two units from Emlenton Ambulance, and four fire companies were dispatched after the call came in at 7:09 a.m.

Initial reports indicate that the tractor trailer traveled off Interstate 80 near an overpass and landed on Metz Road.

It is believed that two people who suffered injuries were transported from the scene by STAT MedEvac.

Wolbert explained that fog prevented the STAT MedEvac crew from Clarion from flying to the scene initially. Some crew members were taken to the scene by Clarion EMS, and another crew from Grove City also responded.

Later, the STAT MedEvac crew from Clarion was able to fly to the scene.

St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department, Parker City Volunteer Fire Department, Emlenton Fire Department, Knox Volunteer Fire Company, and Clarion-based State Police also responded.

As of 10:35 a.m., all units were back in their stations.

Clarion-based State Police are investigating, but no further information has been released.
