EDINBORO, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop E – Erie, together with Edinboro University, have announced that the 2nd annual Sunny Day Camp will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Edinboro University.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine.

This one-day event is an inclusive camp open to any child or adult of special needs who reside in the Troop E area of Erie, Crawford, Warren, and Venango Counties. The program was designed so that no one would be excluded from learning about the law enforcement agencies serving their communities.

During the closing ceremony, troopers will name and present certificates to the attendees. The day will conclude with music and t-shirt signing during which troopers, volunteers and fellow participants can sign shirts and take pictures to commemorate the day.

This camp is free and is funded by donations under the non-profit organization Boosters of Camp Cadet. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver for the duration of the day.

Registration is limited to 200 and must be completed online at www.sunnydaycamp.org. Volunteers and donations are also being accepted.
