State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, Retail Theft, Debit Card Fraud

state_policeVENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Mischief in Cornplanter Township

This crime occurred sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at a residence located at 68 Rockwood Avenue, Lot 36, Oil City, Cornplanter Township.

An unknown perpetrator(s) damaged a window screen by removing a corner and bending the frame.

The victim is a 65-year-old Franklin man.

Retail Theft in Cranberry Township

A retail theft occurred around 2:08 p.m. on May 4 at Walmart located on Kimberly Lane, in Cranberry Township.

Police say “the accused (Lacey Anne Christen) entered Walmart and under-rang several items at the self-checkout.”

Charges are being filed through the Magisterial District Court 28-3-04.

Access Device Fraud in Pinegrove Township

Around 4:00 p.m. on May 1, a 27-year-old Pinegrove Township man noticed fraudulent charges on his bank account from various Walmarts located in Pennsylvania.
