State Police Calls: 3-Year-Old Leaves Home After Mother Passes Out From Mixing Meds, Booze

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following calls:

Endangering Welfare of a Child in Cranberry Township

Franklin-based State Police say an incident of Endangering The Welfare of a Child occurred sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on December 31 on Acorn Drive in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

This incident occurred as a 23-year-old Seneca woman took anxiety medication with alcoholic beverages, causing her to lose consciousness.

The woman’s three-year-old daughter exited her apartment and was found outside in the rain with no shoes or coat.

The woman was charged initially with endangering the welfare of a child.

PSP Franklin is currently investigating this incident.

Harassment in Eldred Township

PA State Police in Marienville are investigating an incident that happened around 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1, at 5335 Route 36 in Sigel, Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Through the investigation, it was discovered that both involved parties engaged in a verbal altercation at their residence.

The altercation turned physical between the two individuals involved – a known 32-year-old Sigel woman and a known 35-year-old Sigel man.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Charges are pending.
