Utica Woman Escapes Injury in Canal Township Crash

CANAL TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Utica woman escaped injuries in an early Saturday morning crash in Canal Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, 76-year-old Carol Davis, of Utica, was driving a 2007 Toyota RAV4 south on Utica Road when she hit a deer that had entered the highway. After hitting the deer, Davis brought the vehicle to a stop along the edge of the road.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Sugarcreek Borough Police and Lowry Towing assisted at the scene.
