State Police Calls: DUI Crash in Franklin, Retail Theft in Cranberry

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI Crash in Sandycreek Township

Around 11:40 p.m. on Monday, September 17, Franklin-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash involving a 2010 Kia Forte on Congress Hill Road.

During the investigation, it was determined that the driver – a 25-year-old Utica man – was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and taken to UPMC Northwest for a blood draw.

Charges will be filed pending the results of the blood test.

His name was not released.

The vehicle was towed by Billy’s Garage.

Retail Theft in Cranberry Township

According to police, around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, an unknown individual drove away from the Seneca Kwik Fill after filling his vehicle with gas without paying for the gas.
