State Police Calls: Assault in Frenchcreek, Disorderly Conduct in Cornplanter

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Assault in Frenchcreek Township

According to police, on Wednesday, October 3, two known individuals entered into a verbal altercation at a location along Georgetown Road in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County.

As the altercation continued, a known suspect struck the known victim on the face and arm several times causing bruising.

The incident remains under investigation.

Disorderly Conduct in Cornplanter Township

According to police, this incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, as a juvenile from Oil City failed to return to his residence after being told repeatedly by his father to come home.

Police say the juvenile was located in Titusville and returned to his father after two hours of searching.
