State Police Calls: Operating Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock, Criminal Mischief

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Operating Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock in Barkeyville Borough

Around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, Franklin-based State Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Jeep Cherokee for a lighting violation on Interstate 80 eastbound near exit 29 in the Borough of Barkeyville.

According to police, during the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that the operator of the vehicle, a 44-year-old Parker man, had a suspended driver’s license and was supposed to have an ignition interlock that he did not have in his vehicle.

Charges are pending through District Court 28-3-04.

Criminal Mischief in Pinegrove Township

According to police, around 1:49 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, an unknown individual smashed in all of the windows of a known Oil City man’s 2001 Suzuki Suzulight.

The incident occurred while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of a private residence on County Line Road in Pinegrove Township, Venango County.
