State Police Calls: Assault, Harassment, Drug Paraphernalia

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Assault in Sugarcreek Borough

According to police, around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 15, a victim reported that he had been assaulted by a known 30-year-old Cochranton man at a location on Two Mile Run Road in Sugarcreek Borough. While the crime was being investigated, the victim contacted police again and advised that he did not want to pursue charges against the man.

Harassment/Drug Paraphernalia in Cranberry Township

Police say around 4:16 p.m. on Monday, April 30, a known 31-year-old Seneca man went to the Franklin State Police Barracks to report his wife, a known 30-year-old Seneca woman, pushing him during a domestic dispute at a location on East State Road in Cranberry Township.

Upon further investigation, the woman admitted to pushing the victim. The woman also told police that her husband had drug paraphernalia in the house and she wanted it to be removed.

Charges are pending against both individuals.
