State Police Calls: Assault in Victory Twp., DUIs, Retail Theft

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Assault in Victory Township

According to police, between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 22-year-old Seth Thomas-Gooden Smith physically assaulted the victim(s) during a domestic dispute at a location on Sanford Road in Victory Township. Smith was arraigned before District Judge Andrew F. Fish for assault later that day.

DUI in Cranberry Township

Around 2:51 a.m. on Sunday, March 18, a known 54-year-old Franklin man was stopped for a traffic violation on the 3500 Block of State Route 257 in Cranberry Township. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

DUI and related charges are pending.

DUI in Franklin

Around 1:13 a.m. on Sunday, March 18, a known 21-year-old Oil City man was stopped for a traffic violation on the 300 Block W. Park Street in Franklin. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

DUI and related charges are pending.

Retail Theft at Cranberry Walmart

According to police, around 5:13 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 19-year-old Tessa Renee Connor, of Franklin, took merchandise including one tote, one Trojan 2 in 1, one Ultra Touch, one Mx En Vol 13 (shampoo), Fr TT GJ34 (shampoo), Mx Sh Vol 13 (shampoo), from the Cranberry Walmart by placing the items in her purse in a hidden manner.
