State Police Calls: Burglary, Hit and Run

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following incidents in Cornplanter Township:

State Police Seeking Information on Burglary on Halyday Run Road

An unknown perpetrator(s) forced his/her way into a garage at a residence on Halyday Run Road, in Oil City, by breaking a window and a door. Entry to the home was made by breaking the glass out of the front door. The perpetrator(s) ransacked the residence and caused damage throughout the home.

The incident occurred sometime between Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to call State Police at 814-676-6596.

State Police Seeking Information on Hit and Run on Grandview Road

Around 8:28 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, an unknown individual was driving a older, black Ford pickup truck and lost control while traveling north on Grandview Road, hitting a mailbox and destroying a fence at an Oil City man’s residence.

The truck returned to the road and continued without stopping.
