State Police Calls: DUI Arrest, Harassment

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Oil City

According to police, around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, a 2015 Dodge RAM 1500 was observed along the 100 block of Main Street in Oil City with an equipment violation and a traffic stop was initiated.

During the stop, the driver, a known 27-year-old Oil City man, displayed signs of impairment.

He was subsequently arrested for DUI and charges will be filed pending BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) results.

Harassment in Polk Borough

Around 4:58 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, an incident of harassment occurred on Main Street in Polk Borough as a 49-year-old Seneca man and an 18-year-old Reno woman entered into a verbal argument.

According to police, the verbal argument escalated, and the individuals began hitting and shoving each other.

Both parties were cited for harassment through District Court 28-3-03.
