State Police Calls: Public Drunkenness at UPMC, Criminal Mischief

Franklin-based State Police are investigating the following recent incidents:

Public Drunkenness

Police said Wayne E. Burnside III, of Titusville, was cited for public drunkenness following an October 31 incident at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Burnside was cited after allegedly “acting out and yelling in the hallway of UPMC loud enough to alert staff.”

Charges will be filed in Venango County District Court.

Criminal Mischief in Cornplanter Township

Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred at ECG Company on North Seneca Street in Cornplanter Township.

Police said an unknown individual spun a vehicle’s tires in the lawn area of the business, resulting in dirt and gravel hitting the entrance of the business.
