State Police Calls: Smash and Grab; Purse Stolen at Morrison Park

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police recently investigated the following incidents.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle

An unknown person smashed out the rear left window of a 2003 Chevy Silverado owned by William Earl Fulton, Jr., 39, of Cooperstown, Pa. and removed $100 from the center console.

The crime occurred between 1 and 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 6.

The vehicle was parked along Tennessee Lane in Jackson Township.

Woman’s Purse Stolen from Car

An Oil City woman had her purse taken from her car during an incident Sunday at Morrison Park in Seneca.

Police said that Cheyan Marie Jamey Grimes, 18, of Oil City, was at the park and her car was parked near the pond when an unknown person took her purse and wallet.
