State Police Calls: Theft in Cranberry, DUI in Oil City

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft in Cranberry Township

According to police, an incident of theft occurred around 4:49 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018, when a known victim reported that her iPod Touch, valued at $300.00, was stolen. The victim also reported she looked at her Apple ID account and saw pictures of a known female.

Police say after being identified by witnesses, a charge of theft by unlawful taking was filed against a known 22-year-old Seneca woman.

The woman’s name was not released.

DUI in Oil City

According to police, a known female operating a Subaru Impreza was stopped for a traffic violation on Pearl Avenue in Oil City around 2:18 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, and was subsequently found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say the known female was taken into custody for DUI.

DUI charges are pending blood test results.

The woman’s name was not released.
