State Police Calls: Unwanted Sexually Explicit Images Prompt Investigation

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Sexual Harassment in Cranberry Township

Police say around 7:34 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, an unknown suspect sent two sexually explicit pictures via text message to a known female victim in Cranberry Township. The suspect also sent numerous messages that exhibited an unwelcome sexual conversation.

This incident remains under investigation.

Controlled Substance Incident in Cranberry Township

According to police, around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, an incident occurred involving a medical call for an unresponsive female passed out in her vehicle in the Cranberry WalMart parking lot.

Upon police arrival, EMS were at the scene administering care. The known 26-year-old Franklin woman was unresponsive, and EMS gave a series of sternum rubs until she came to consciousness. The woman was then transported to UPMC Northwest for medical treatment.

The woman was found to be in possession of marijuana, unknown white pills, and drug paraphernalia.

Charges are pending.
