State Police Calls: Venus Man Victim of Credit Card Fraud

Franklin-based State Police responded to the following incidents.

Venus Man Victim of Credit Card Fraud

State Police say a 27-year-old Venus man is the victim of credit card fraud.

The incident happened on May 3 when unknown person(s) gained access to the victim’s credit card and purchased goods totaling $665.50.

The incident remains under investigation.

Vehicle Damaged on Horsecreek Road

State Police say someone damaged a vehicle door on May 8 between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. at a location along Horsecreek Road in Oil City, Venango County.

The door was scratched multiple times, according to police.

Damage is estimated at $20.
