State Police Calls – Cruelty Animals, Criminal Mischief, Theft

VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following police calls in Venango County:

PINEGROVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — PSP Franklin responded to a report of Cruelty to Animals at a property located at Grandview Estates, in Pinegrove Township.

Upon a PSP Franklin investigation, a known suspect was charged with summary counts of Cruelty to Animals, Vaccination Required, and Application of Dog License.

The incident occurred around 2:36 p.m. on September 9, 2014.

The name of the suspect was not released.

MINERAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — PSP Franklin are investigating a group of damaged mailboxes on Gilmore Lane, in Mineral Township.

The incident occurred on September 9, 2014.

No other details were provided.

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. — PSP Franklin are investigating the theft of a 1989 Johnson 9.9 white in color boat motor from a property on State Route 417, in Oakland Township.

The motor was taken sometime between September 7 and September 9.
