ROUSEVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police have released the results of a DUI sobriety checkpoint that was conducted during St. Patrick’s Day holiday.
In an attempt to reduce impaired driving-related traffic crashes and to promote public safety, the Franklin-based Pennsylvania State Police conducted a roving DUI patrol from 10:00 p.m. on March 17, 2017 to 3:00 a.m. on March 18. 2017.
The detail resulted in 5 DUI arrests, 52 summary traffic violation arrests, and 40 written warnings for minor summary traffic infractions.
