POLK, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police investigated an early morning death at Polk Center.

Around 2:55 a.m. on Friday, June 8, PSP Franklin responded to Polk Center in Polk Borough for a death investigation.

Upon PSP’s arrival, it was determined that the victim was deceased in his bedroom due to cardiac arrest.

CPR was performed on the victim by staff members and emergency medical personnel with negative results.

The victim was admitted to Polk Center on September 2, 1961.

This death is being ruled a natural death.
