State Police Investigate Structure Damage Caused by Firearm in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, an incident of Criminal Mischief occurred sometime between October 13 and October 20 at a location on Walnut Bend Road in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

The incident occurred when an unknown actor(s) allegedly discharged a firearm nine times into an unoccupied structure belonging to a 42-year-old male victim.

Metal siding located on the walls of the building was damaged, according to police.

Police say the actor(s) then allegedly fled in an unknown direction.
