TIONESTA TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a fire occurred at a seasonal dwelling located along Deitrich Lane, in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

Chief Troy Johnston, of the Tionesta Fire Department, requested an investigation of a fire that destroyed a single story seasonal residence at the above described location at 7:35 p.m. on December 27, according to Marienville-based State Police.

The camp is owned by 63-year-old Raymond Schafer, of Amity, Pa.

No one was present at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.

The origin and cause could not be determined.

It was a total loss.

Damage is estimated at $60,000.00.
