TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police responded to an accidental shooting in Forest County on Friday.

Police said a known 39-year-old Clarington man shot himself with a handgun at an undisclosed location in Tionesta Borough.

According to police, the incident happened Friday around 2:00 p.m.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

No further information was released.
