State Police Investigating Accidental Shooting

ASHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, an accidental shooting occurred late Saturday night on Saint Marks Road, Ashland Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 11:12 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, a known 23-year-old Shippenville man was accidentally shot with a .45 caliber handgun while playing with airsoft guns.

The man was flown from the scene to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

The investigation continues.
