State Police Investigating Child Molestation Case

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating a sexual assault case involving a known elderly man who is accused of molesting three youths more than a decade ago.

According to police, the incidents occurred at various times between 2004 and 2006 at a residence on Innis Street in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

A 23-year-old man reported that when he was 10 years old, he was sexually molested by an elderly man on at least five occasions inside the suspect’s residence, police say.

The victim also reported two other potential victims.

Police say due to the sensitive nature of the allegations and identity of the victims, no other information is being released at this time.
