OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a theft occurred earlier this week at a residence located at 119 Mitchell Lane, in Oil City, Oakland Township, Venango County.

Police say around 12:30 p.m. on April 5, a 75-year-old Oil City woman’s wedding ring was discovered missing from her residence.

According to police, “a suspect has been developed.”

The investigation is ongoing.
