State Police Issue Sexually Violent Predator Notice in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Pennsylvania State Police have released a Megan’s Law Alert notifying the public that a sexually violent predator has listed a residence in Oil City.

According to the PA State Megan’s Law website, 31-year-old Terrance Robert Smith has reported a residence at 401 Central Avenue, Apartment 1, Oil City, Venango County, Pa.

Smith is described as white, 6’3″ tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and red- or auburn-colored hair.

There is no employment address listed for Smith on Megan’s Law Public Report.

Smith has the following tattoos: Cross (DAD) on his back and a Tasmanian devil and a wolf on his left shoulder.

Smith’s registration date began on December 2, 2014.

His registration was last updated on October 8, 2017.

Smith was convicted on June 19, 2014, for the following offense:

– Aggravated Indecent Assault Where the Complainant is Less Than 16 Years Old and the Person is Four or More Years Older

Smith is not wanted by police.

He is registered as a Sexually Violent Predator which requires a lifetime registration.
