State Police Issue Sexually Violent Predator Notice in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Pennsylvania State Police have released a Megan’s Law Alert notifying the public that a sexually violent predator has listed a residence in Oil City.

According to the PA State Megan’s Law website, Chris Griffin is a transient, and he is listed as transient/homeless on Colbert Avenue, in Oil City, Venango County, Pa.

Fifty-nine-year-old Griffin is white, 5’7″, 209 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

He was convicted of the following offenses:

– Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, convicted July 4, 1996.
– Indecent Assault, convicted May 10, 2002.
– Indecent Assault, convicted May 10, 2002.
– Indecent Assault – Complainant Less Than 13 Years of Age, convicted May 10, 2002.
– Sexual Assault, convicted September 20, 2010.

His registration began on June 30, 2009.

His registration was last updated on August 21, 2017.

Griffin is not wanted by police.

He is registered as a Sexually Violent Predator which requires a lifetime registration.
