State Police Probe Theft of Guns from Plum Township Home

PLUM TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Plum Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, an unknown perpetrator(s) gained entry into a residence on Troy Center Road, in Plum Township.

While inside the residence, the perpetrator(s) rummaged through the victim’s personal belongings.

The perpetrator(s) stole two .357 cal. revolvers, a Glock .40 cal. semi-auto pistol, a Ruger .243 cal. bolt-action rifle, and a Remington .280 cal. bolt action rifle. A Sony 48″ flat screen television was also stolen.

The perpetrator(s) fled in an unknown direction.

The victim is a 52-year-old Titusville man.
