RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a hit-and-run accident occurred last week on Interstate 80 East, in Richland Township, Clarion County.

Police say 52-year-old Darin N. Maree, of Honesdale, Pa., and 51-year-old John M. Konzelman, of Elyria, Ohio, were involved in the collision.

According to police, around 5:58 p.m. on June 21, a 1995 Peterbilt operated by Maree was traveling east on the eastbound left lane of I-80 around mile marker 46. Konselman was traveling in the right lane of travel in a 2012 Peterbilt.

The 1995 Peterbilt struck the 2012’s trailer causing minor damage to its trailer and continued traveling eastbound on I-80.

Both operators were using seat belts and were not injured.

Maree was charged with a traffic violation.
