RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police investigators have released details surrounding an accident that occurred on July 4 on Interstate 80 in the Emlenton area.
Police said the crash happened around 1:18 p.m. when Robert Wareham, 82, of Knox, was traveling east on Interstate 80 in Richland Township and lost control of his 2003 Buick Lasabre while attempting to change lanes.
Wareham’s car exited the roadway where it struck a large concrete barrier and then traveled back across both lanes before colliding with a ditch and a road sign.
No injuries were reported.
