State Police Report Hit and Run Crash on Route 257, Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a hit and run accident occurred early Saturday morning on State Route 257, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 1:52 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, a 2011 Dodge Charger was traveling northbound on Route 257 near its intersection with Innis Street. The car traveled off the right side of the roadway while negotiating a left-hand curve and struck a guide rail before coming to a final rest.

The unidentified driver fled the scene.

The vehicle was towed to Venango Towing.
