CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An identity theft occurred on Friday morning at a location on Horsecreek Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, an unknown suspect gained access to a 22-year-old Seneca man’s bank account and made multiple online transactions totaling $561.21, while the victim always had possession of the debit card for this account.

The incident occurred sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 3.
