Details of the incident:

Police say a known, 33-year-old Seneca woman came to the Franklin State Police barracks to report that Berry caused a scene on April 19 at her place of employment. The victim related that “she found out that Berry was cheating on her, and he found out that she knew.”

According to police, Berry texted the victim a couple of times before showing up in the parking lot when the victim was in her car leaving work. The victim stated that Berry beat on her window until she put the window down. Berry then put his arm inside the car and unlocked the door. The victim stated that Berry began to scream at her, then yanked her ponytail her head backward. The victim told Berry to stop and not to do this in the parking lot and go to the apartment.

Berry allegedly made threats to harm her dog before she made it back to the apartment. The victim called her sister — a 35-year-old Cranberry woman — and friend — a 34-year-old Kennerdell woman — to go to the apartment to get her dog before Berry would harm it, police say.

The Cranberry woman reported that she went to her sister’s apartment, Berry pulled in, and she asked him for the dog. She stated that the Kennerdell woman then showed up at the apartment as Berry was unlocking the door to the apartment. Then, he put the Cranberry woman in a headlock, choked her, dragged her into the apartment, and threw her to the ground. Then, he body slammed the Kennerdell woman, according to police.

The Kennerdell woman reported that Berry was calling her provocative names when she arrived. She said that when she made it to the house, Berry grabbed her from behind and slammed her to the ground and she smacked her head off the kitchen cabinet, police say.

The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19.
