State Police Searching for Retail Theft Suspect

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a retail theft occurred on Sunday evening at Walmart, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, sometime between 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, a snow blower was removed from Cranberry Walmart.

Two males were observed on the surveillance cameras, along with a red Dodge Ram single cab truck with a long bed and cab lights.

This crime took place as one male entered the store, removed wire cutters, and exited the store. He then proceeded to cut the wire on the snow blower and push it a distance from the store in the parking lot. Approximately five minutes later the two men loaded the snow blower on the truck and fled the scene.

The value of the snow blower is $788.00.

The public’s assistance is requested for the identities of the men.
