State Police Searching for Riverside Drive Hit-and-Run Driver

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin are asking for the public’s help with solving a hit-and-run investigation.

Trooper Kephart said the crash occurred Thursday around 4:26 p.m. on Riverside Drive in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Michael Yashinski, 46, of Oil City, was traveling north on Riverside Drive at its intersection with State Route 257 when an unknown vehicle struck the rear of his 2002 Pontiac Grand Am.

The unknown vehicle fled the scene, according to police.

Yashinski was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
