State Police Seeking Information After Vandals Strike Cranberry Area Elementary School

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying anyone involved in an incident at Cranberry Area Elementary School recently.

According to a police report, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, unknown individuals entered the batting cages behind the Cranberry Area Elementary School.

While there, the individuals set a pizza box on fire and broke a pitching screen and numerous fluorescent light bulbs.

A known man approached the batting cages with his son, and the actors fled the area on foot through the woods behind the batting cages. The man was able to extinguish the fire and then he contacted the State Police.
