State Police Seeking Information on Golf Course Vandalism

OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police are investigating an incident of vandalism that occurred last week at an Oakland Township golf course.

According to police, a group of unknown individuals took six golf carts from Whitetail Run Golf Course on Sunville Road in Oakland Township and drove them around the golf course, destroying greens and damaging the golf carts used.

Police say an estimate of the damage is approximately $43,500.00.

The incident occurred sometime between 11:00 p.m. on July 3 and 6:00 a.m. on July 4.

A similar incident occurred on the same night at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course, which is about four miles from Whitetail Run, according to police.

Video was recovered from Sleepy Hollow Golf course and pictures were posted in a previous article.
