UPDATE: Fryburg Woman Killed in Crash

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Fryburg woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on State Route 208 in Washington Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion County 911 Director Ron Wolbert, Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene around 6:08 a.m.

Marienville-based State Police Tpr. Eric Lauer said the crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 208 and Sunny Road.

According to Tpr. Lauer, a vehicle operated by a known male entered State Route 208 from Sunny Road directly into the path of a vehicle operated by 44-year-old Kami Dinger.

Dinger was pronounced dead at the scene by Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer.

Shippenville-Elk Township Ambulance transported one person from the scene.

Clarion Hospital EMS also responded.

LifeFlight was on standby before being canceled.

Authorities have not released the name of the male driver.

Tpr. Lauer said additional details will be released following further investigation.

State Route 208 was shut down for nearly 9 hours following the crash. The roadway reopened around 3 p.m.
