Stephen Edward Luktisch

Stephen Edward Luktisch, 51, of Seneca, passed away due to health issues at his residence, on January 22, 2019 at 7:00pm.

Born July 2, 1967 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Theresa Hale of Seneca and the late Roger D. Hale.

In his free time, Stephen loved fishing, camping, and boating. He adored his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Kristine Luktisch of Franklin; a son, Micheal J. Mueller and wife, Diane, of Oil City; a daughter, Aleshia Mueller and fiancé, David Fleeger II, of Seneca; three grandchildren, Jack Mueller, Wesson Fleeger, and Devyn Fleeger; and three children of his heart, close enough to be his own, Jackelyn Depew and husband Gregory, of Seneca, Alan Ritchey of Oil City, and Joey Ritchey of Seneca.

He is also survived by three brothers, Frank R. Luktisch and wife, Jennifer, of Oil City, Peter G. Luktisch of Oil City, and William Hale and wife, Peggy, of Franklin; five sisters, Theresa M. Webb and husband, David, of Oil City, Melissa Brown of Oil City, Angel Greenhalgh of Butler, Corrina Hoggard and husband, Charles, of Butler, and Danielle Reges and husband, Lou, of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his father, Roger D. Hale, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Peter G. Luktisch and Michael J. Luktisch; a nephew Michael J. Luktisch Jr.; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends will be received at the Morrison Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, from 2 pm to 4 pm, with a funeral service following at 4 pm.

The family has asked that memorial donations be made in Stephen’s name to the funeral home to defer funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home’s website.
