Steven Rodgers SrSteven Charles Rodgers, Sr., 56, of Stoneboro, passed away unexpectedly at 2:47 a.m. on Friday, April 21st.

Born March 15, 1961 in Titusville, Steven was the son of the late Richard and Flossie Antill Rodgers.

He was engaged to be married to Trisialana Eakin who survives.

He was an US Army Veteran having served from June 12, 1981 until June 11, 1993. While in the military, he was the recipient of the Army Service Ribbon, the Components Achievement Medal, the General Thomas J. Stewart Medal, the General Thomas R. White Medal, and the Pennsylvania Service Ribbon.

Steven was a forklift operator for Jones Hardwood and Homerwood in Titusville, and most recently worked at KB Pizza in Franklin as a supervisor.

Steven loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He especially cherished spending time with his 12 grandchildren, who also loved being around him.

In addition to his fiancee’, Steven is survived by his son, Steve Rodgers Jr., and his wife, Amanda, of Franklin; his two daughters, Ella Rodgers Baker of Franklin, and Mary Rodgers of Cynthia, KY ; and his step-children, Trevor and Michaela Eakin, both of Stoneboro.

Steven is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, Dominic, Noah, Tyler, Tyson, Blake, Cole and Adalyn Rodgers, Faith, Paul and James Baker, and Michael and Glenn Hicks.

He is additionally survived by his 3 brothers, David Rodgers, Rick Rodgers and John Rodgers.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his infant brother.

As per the family’s request, funeral services for Steven will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin PA 16323.
