Sugarcreek, Cranberry Township Home Rehab Program Accepting Applicants

VENANGO CO, Pa. — The County of Venango, on behalf of Sugarcreek Borough and Cranberry Township, is seeking homeowners interested in home rehabilitation grant funding and services.

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded home rehabilitation program offers a wide range of home improvement services to income-eligible, owner-occupied homeowners within the municipalities of Sugarcreek and Cranberry.

Applications are available at the Cranberry Township Building, at 3726 state Route 257, Seneca; the Sugarcreek Borough Building, at 212 Fox Street, Franklin; and at the Venango County Regional Planning Commission Office, in the Venango County Courthouse, 1168 Liberty Street, Franklin.

The annual household income guidelines per household size, established by the Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD), are as follows: 1 person, $35,400.00; 2 person, $40,450.00; 3 person, $45,500.00; 4 person, $50,550.00; 5 person, $54,600.00; 6 person, $58,650.00; 7 person, $62,700.00; and 8 person, $66,750.00.

Verification of income will be required following the initial application.

The CDBG program is funded by HUD through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and
Economic Development.
