SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police report a one-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 6:42 a.m. on July 27 in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, the crash occurred as Henry A. Gent, 18, of Franklin was traveling north on SR 417 in a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero.

Gent’s vehicle left the east side of SR-417 at its intersection with Keely Road and struck a concrete wall causing disabling damage to the vehicle.

Police say Gent was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured in the crash.

Gent was cited with a Roadways Laned for Traffic violation.

The Rocky Grove Fire Department assisted with traffic control at the scene.
