Suspected DUI Crash on Route 322

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 8:06 a.m. on July 25, an alleged DUI crash occurred on State Route 322, west of Astral Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling west on SR 322, and due to the operator losing consciousness, the car left the north edge of the roadway where the right front of the vehicle struck the ditch.

The damage observed to the car included the front clip and the right front corner.

DUI charges pending toxicology report.

Community Ambulance, Venango Towing & Recover, and Seneca Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The name of the operator of the vehicle was not released.
