ROCKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Rockland Twp., Venango Co., Pa.

Police say around 5:30 on August 10, 2012, an unknown person was traveling east on Kennerdell Road in the center of the roadway and failed to drive in his lane while negotiating a right curve.

According to police, the unknown suspect struck the side mirror of a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 driven by 54-year-old Gary R. Osborne of Kennerdell, Pa., who was traveling west on Kennerdell Road.

Osborne was not injured.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as possibly a silver Chrysler station wagon hybrid with black trim and a broken left side mirror.
