LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — 14-year-old Jordan Brown of Lawrence County has been found guilty of the shotgun slaying of 26-year-old Kenzie Marie Houk, his father’s pregnant fiancee.

The incident occurred at the home the family shared just outside of Wampum, Pa., in February of 2009.

The ruling, determined in juvenile court by Judge John Hodge, means that Brown can be detained no longer than his 21st birthday.

Brown was 11-years-old at the time of the slaying.
