FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin Police, around 2:06 p.m. on May 30, a retail theft occurred at Shop n Save located at 1015 Buffalo Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Shop n Save and discovered that 18-year-old Merlin Ambrosious Hunter, of Meadville, took possession of $7.29 of merchandise and carried away same without paying for it, police say.

Hunter was arrested and charged with a summary offense of Retail Theft.

The charge was filed with District Court 28-3-03.
