Teen Crashes Truck into Marsh in Cranberry Twp.

policeCRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash late Thursday evening on East State Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

State Police say the crash occurred around 11:38 p.m. in the area of Horsecreek Road when a 17-year-old Cranberry male lost control of his vehicle while traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed.

The teen’s 1997 GMC Sierra began to fishtail and then spun 360 degrees before traveling backward into a marsh.

The vehicle’s rear tires sank into the marsh causing it to rollover.

The driver escaped injury.

He was cited for driving too fast.
