Teen Driver Flown to Erie Following High-Speed Crash in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — State Police say a teen driver was flown to an Erie area hospital following a Monday afternoon crash in Franklin.

Franklin-based State Police Tpr. Cole says a known male juvenile was traveling north at a high rate of speed on Sunville Road between Bethel Road and Cooperstown/Dempseytown Road when he lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle exited the roadway and slammed into two parked vehicles resulting in one of the parked cars colliding with a house.

The juvenile was flown by STAT MedEvac to UPMC Hamot for unknown injuries.

Police did not release the name of the juvenile.

There is no word on his current condition.
