Franklin Teen Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash

SANDYCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – A 17-year-old Franklin girl escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on Belmar Road, at its intersection with Graham Road, in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, the accident happened around 8:04 a.m. on March 13 when a 17-year-old female from Franklin failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the road and traveled off the roadway in a 1993 Jeep Cherokee.

The teen’s vehicle subsequently struck a large rock.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
